The plastics splint is held in place at the palm side by velcro within the nylon pocket. This keeps the splint where it needs to be. I appreciate having two hook/loop velcro wrist straps that allow you to get things nice and tight when you want. A much better design than the alternatives.
The best wrist guard
Finally an excellent wrist guard available to us again since the passing of “Wild” Bill Walker on par with his. 187 quality! And reasonable price! Like another reviewer stated, measure accordingly and size up one if you are comparing to old Pro-designed model size .My new 187 guards “XL” = PD “L” exactly! Took advantage of holiday sale and got a second pair on standby. If only I could have talked to a rep from 187 on the phone for two hours before completing my order….

“If your mother only knew” (Rahzel) There is no other design as good. Infinitely adjustable and pay special attention to the hinged design. Couldn’t be more proud of these.
