DERBY WRIST GUARD

I really like the wrist guards I wish I didn’t have to squeeze my hands into them so hard. I got the extra large, but I’m afraid I could’ve used another X.!!!

First off, the guards are great, I got them for getting back on a skateboard after 15 years, and they offer way better protection than other guards with the single band of guard material.
Second, the customer service at 187 is awesome, one of the guards had defective rivets that popped off when I tried them on for the first time. I hit the company up via their contact us section of the website and 2 emails later had a replacement wrist guard on the way.
Highly recommend!

The derby pads were what I found when a doctor suggested I find braces designed for skateboarding. I have a plethora of wrist issues and these pads have been helpful. You can still fully skate in them because the ergonomics work well with skating. I will continue to replace them as they wear out.

Not gonna lie, I hit the floor hard the other day after clipping myself and getting my wheels locked with each other somehow during a drill....these wrist guards with the full palm coverage were a game changer in making my slide much smoother and cleaner. Can't wait to put them to use when derby season starts!

From falling so much with the palm of my hand, I practically can't rest it anymore. These wrist guards allow me to continue my practice as if nothing happened. I no longer feel pain when I hit the ground and they are really comfortable!
