This was a gift, but the recipient seemed to really like them. Personally, I liked the colors and the thick padding. No doubt the recipient will be using these a lot and I'm happy knowing that they'll be safer with these pads.

I am new to skateboarding, so I definitely take safety and protection seriously. The Knee & Elbow Pad Combo Pack was just what I needed. I love the color and print options available. The pads are comfortable without being bulky, and appear well constructed. I look forward to falling so I can really test them out.

I replaced my pro tec pads with the 187 elbow and knee combo pack. I took them out for their first skate last week.

I sized up from what the measurements recommended and that was a good choice.

The density of the knee pads feel so much safer. my protecs were almost flat and I often avoided knee falls. During the maiden voyage of my new pads I was skating transition and had to bail. I confidently slid hard and fast on my knees from high up on the bowl and was totally fine.

These new pads do feel like I've upgraded my protection level.
