I find these to be more comfortable than the standard wrist guards. They are more padded and give my hands more freedom to move, and the larger palm side plastic is nice as it disperses impact more. The back side plastic doesn't feel as angled and doesn't dig into my wrist as much

These wrist guards are amazing. Comfortable, and hold up very well. The quality and customer service from 187 is second to none.

The plastics splint is held in place at the palm side by velcro within the nylon pocket. This keeps the splint where it needs to be. I appreciate having two hook/loop velcro wrist straps that allow you to get things nice and tight when you want. A much better design than the alternatives.
