The knee pads only work when your knees are bent for a knee slide, if your knees are extended for a bail onto your hands and knees, they flip down and expose the top of your knees to the concrete. I don't think I could size down to a small and I dont see a difference when I make them really tight. It seems silly to me to have to bail into "child's pose"

Pad review - Love the look, feel and fit. Havent had them in anything serious yet however, when it does it I'm confident they will work. Gives me a little more peace of mind at the park.
What do you think about The Skatepark Project Donation? I've been an advocate since the late eighties for skateparks so anything to help keep them going and provide outlets for other skaters is a win IMO.
